Why use the sem·i·co·lon?

The semicolon is used in a sentence when the actual sentence could stop but the writer decided that it should continue.

When the semicolon is used in terms of Suicide and Depression, it means that the person has decided that it will not be the end of their story and that they have made a conscious decision to keep going in Life.

That is inspiring and is something that should be applauded.

Stopthe stigma

Please join the fight in ending the stigma surrounding suicide and depression. It has been long swept under the carpet and considered taboo.

It is high time we talk about it, bring more awareness and help those who are struggling.
